Who runs FuffaCheck
FuffaCheck is a free, ad-free, non-profit project. For any privacy question, write to fuffacheck@gmail.com.
The extension
- It only runs on the Abercrombie & Fitch, H&M, Zalando and Zara websites. There it reads the page you're looking at to find what the items are made of.
- If the composition isn't on the page, it asks the same store for it, just as you would by opening the item's page.No other server is contacted.
- It saves the menu settings in your browser and, for 14 days, the compositions already read on Zalando, so it doesn't have to ask again. If you use Chrome sync, Google syncs the settings across your devices, as it does for any extension.
- It sends nothing to us or anyone else: no browsing history, no purchases, no usage statistics. It has no accounts and doesn't read other websites.
- To delete everything it has saved, just remove it from Chrome.
The website
- It uses no cookies, analytics, ads or content from other websites: fonts and images are hosted on the site itself.
- It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the IP address and technical data of each visit for a limited time to run and protect the service.Details: Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- The “Buy me a coffee” button leads to Buy Me a Coffee: if you donate, the details you enter are handled by Buy Me a Coffee and Stripe, which processes the payments.Details: Buy Me a Coffee's privacy policy.
- If you write to us, we use your email address only to reply.
Your rights
